Barnes took up skydiving as a hobby. On his first solo jump he pulled the ripcord at the right time, but nothing happened; the parachute wouldn't open. He pulled the emergency chute, but it too was stuck. As he glanced down to see the ground rushing toward him, he noticed a man hurtling upward right at him.
"Hey!" Barnes yelled at the man, "Do you know anything about parachutes?"
"No!" the man called back. "Do you know anything about gas stoves?"
